个人简介

        邓兴旺,博士,教授,博士生导师,美国科学院院士,中组部”千人计划”引进高层次人才。曾任耶鲁大学冠名终身教授(Daniel C. Eaton Professor)。1989年于美国加州大学伯克利分校获得博士学位,1992年开始在美国耶鲁大学建立实验室,任助理教授;1995年起任该校副教授,2001年起任该校终身正教授。其领导的研究团队迄今在《细胞》、《科学》和《自然》顶级刊物上发表14篇论文,在国际刊物上共发表300多篇学术论文。2003年成为国际植物分子生物学会Kumho奖的唯一获奖者。2000年起担任北京大学-耶鲁大学植物分子遗传及农业生物技术联合中心主任,2010年入选”千人计划”,2013年入选美国科学院院士。

 

研究领域

        邓兴旺课题组以拟南芥、水稻等为研究对象,主要从事植物光信号转导、和分子设计育种领域的研究工作。实验室建有配套齐全的植物基因组学、分子生物学、生物信息学等研究平台,具有长期的植物基因组学及分子生物学研究经验。实验室具体研究方向如下:
